How do you do that? Float those pieces cardboard box with no borders around? Everybody seems to know how to do this

Hello who knows?
Moist Tearful-- these were plopped on a scanner, and then in Photoshop I adjusted the levels (brightness/contrast would also work) until the background was totally white. The backgrounds there you just can't see it.
